Well here I go. I have been thinking about starting a blog lately because Michael and I have SO MUCH going on in our life right now that it’s pretty overwhelming. I’ve thought several times that writing about everything would be a great way to keep up with all the big events happening at one time and not losing the memories. Well, today when I saw Ashley’s new blog (way to go Ash!) my desire to just “get it done” was solidified! So….here are all of the things going on right now. Michael graduates from Southern Seminary in 45 days!!! 🙂 We are so excited. I am so extremely proud of Michael and all of the hard work and dedication he has put into school. He is such a talented speaker/leader and I am so excited to see where the Lord leads him. Which leads to our next big thing. We are currently waiting on a full time job for Michael. His resume is out there and he has several people passing around but at this point it’s just a waiting game. It’s pretty cool because we know that God has the perfect church out there for us and we just get to sit back and watch it all unfold. So while we were wrapping our brains around graduation, and about the fact that we will probably be moving whenever Michael gets a job, we got the most amazing news of our lives…WE ARE HAVING A BABY!I’m pretty sure that everyone who would take the time to read this would already know, but having children is something that Michael and I have been pretty desperate about for several years. We were struggling and praying through the chance that having children may never be possible for us. I had finally accepted that the only way that we were going to have the big family we’ve dreamed of was ONLY adoption (we still plan to adopt down the road). I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with this pregnancy. Our baby is due November 8th!!!! I am looking forward to becoming a stay at home mom and taking care of my family. So anyway, that’s it. The first entry is over. That’s an overview of all of the big things happening in our lives this year. I am so thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness and blessings!
